The Libertarian Party of Idaho will hold its first gubernatorial primary this year. Paul Sand and John Dionne have both filed to run for Governor of Idaho as Libertarians. Idaho has been holding primaries since 2011. This is the first time that any party other than the Democratic or Republican Parties has had a contested gubernatorial primary in Idaho.
