Bylaws & Rules Committee
This committee is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the organization’s bylaws, which is the set of rules that guide its operations and activities. Members for this committee are selected at the LPID Convention.

Help us plan our April 2022 state convention. This committee exists to enhance the overall experience of the Annual Convention by assisting in the planning, organizing and execution of the event.
Candidate Support Committee
Candidate support involves helping candidates with preparation and management of campaigns, filing process and forms, and makes recommendations for party financial support.
The Finance Committee shall have the responsibility of increasing the treasury of the Party, and for such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.
This committee exists to take disciplinary actions against any other party member in accordance with Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised, except as otherwise provided herein by the Party Constitution and by-laws and to address challenges of adopted Party planks believed by a delegate to be in conflict with the Statement of Principles shall be referred in writing, during the Regular Convention. Members for this committee are selected at the LPID Convention.
The purpose of this committee is to review legislative proposals and makes recommendations for rejection or support . The Committee’s primary purpose is to ensure that LPID’s stance on a legislative proposal meets the state and national platform principals. The Committee may consider party member and/or third party organization input. Depending on the makeup of the Committee, it may also be able to provide technical support to sections in drafting of proposals or bills where appropriate.
This committee is responsible for increasing the membership of the Party, and for such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.
The Publicity Committee shall have the responsibility for publicizing the Party and its activities and for such other duties as may be assigned by the Executive Committee.
This committee exists to formulate a state platform dealing with issues of importance in the State of Idaho. Committee members will be updated as the State receives the appointments from each county. Members for this committee are selected at the LPID Convention.
